We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Putrajaya, Malaysia. In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire a dynamic housekeeping team while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff performance, and ensuring that all facilities meet our rigorous quality standards. 

• Plan and organize daily housekeeping operations, allocating team members efficiently to ensure all public areas and guest accommodations are maintained to the highest standards
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, vacant rooms, and common areas to verify compliance with established cleanliness and presentation standards
• Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement targeted training programs to continuously improve service quality and staff competency
• Lead daily housekeeping briefings and conduct regular team meetings to communicate expectations, share updates, and foster a collaborative work environment
• Coordinate with front office and other departments to ensure seamless communication regarding room status, guest arrivals, and special requests
• Manage scheduling and annual leave planning to optimize resource allocation while maintaining adequate staffing levels and employee satisfaction
• Oversee inventory management, including monitoring par levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate purchasing with the finance team
• Develop, implement, and update housekeeping policies, procedures, and cleaning checklists to maintain consistency and operational efficiency
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, hygiene, and environmental compliance standards across all housekeeping operations
• Handle and resolve guest and resident complaints professionally and promptly, keeping relevant departments informed of issues and resolutions
• Prepare and conduct employee performance appraisals, providing coaching and support to drive professional development and career growth
• Maintain comprehensive training records and schedules to ensure all team members receive appropriate onboarding and ongoing skill development
• Report maintenance issues, damages, and equipment concerns to the appropriate departments in a timely manner

**Required Qualifications:**

• Minimum one year of demonstrated experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor or equivalent supervisory position within a hospitality environment
• Proficient computer literacy with competency in property management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Proven expertise in housekeeping operations, cleaning standards, and facility management
• Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and environmental compliance standards
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and schedules simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff, guests, and residents
• Customer service excellence with a solution-oriented mindset and commitment to operational excellence
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance capabilities

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Experience in a luxury hospitality setting or upscale residential property
• Familiarity with sustainable and environmentally responsible housekeeping practices
• Experience managing both hotel and residential housekeeping operations

• Speaking an additional language, such as Chinese, Tamil, Japanese, or another language besides Malay and English, is an added advantage.
