Job Description
We're looking for a dynamic and strategic Learning & Development Manager to join our organization in Bengaluru, India. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive learning initiatives that drive employee growth and organizational success. You'll work collaboratively across departments to identify skill gaps, develop innovative training solutions, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development. - Conduct thorough training needs assessments across the organization to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities, translating findings into actionable strategic learning plans
- Design and develop innovative learning solutions utilizing diverse methodologies including e-learning, blended learning, instructor-led training, and experiential learning programs tailored to organizational needs
- Implement and manage learning initiatives from conception through execution, ensuring seamless delivery and participant engagement across all levels of the organization
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external training providers, consultants, and subject matter experts to enhance the quality and scope of learning programs
- Create and execute comprehensive measurement strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives, analyzing data to demonstrate impact on business outcomes and employee performance
- Develop and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring optimal functionality, user adoption, and accessibility for all employees
- Manage learning and development budgets efficiently, allocating resources strategically to maximize program effectiveness and return on investment
- Collaborate with HR, department leaders, and stakeholders to align learning initiatives with organizational goals, culture, and talent development strategies
- Design onboarding and professional development programs that support employee retention, engagement, and career advancement
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in learning and development, recommending innovative solutions to enhance organizational capability
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on learning program outcomes, participant feedback, and recommendations for continuous improvement
Qualifications
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in Learning & Development, training management, or talent development roles
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering diverse training programs (e-learning, blended learning, instructor-led training)
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training delivery platforms
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and evaluate training effectiveness using data-driven approaches
- Excellent project management capabilities with proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation for training programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with training software and tools
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Education, or Organizational Development
- Certification in instructional design, training and development, or related field (ASTD, CIPD, or equivalent)
- Experience with change management initiatives and organizational transformation
- Knowledge of talent management systems and succession planning
- Experience working in a multicultural or diverse organizational environment
- Familiarity with virtual training delivery and remote learning technologies
- Background in performance management and coaching methodologies
