Job Description
Located in the heart of Sydney CBD, ibis Styles Sydney Central is a vibrant and dynamic hotel where personality, great service and memorable guest experiences come together. We're on the lookout for a passionate Assistant Front Office Manager to bring their own style to our team and help lead our Heartists.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Duty Manager to step into a leadership role and further develop their skills mentored by the Operations Manager and hotel leadership team.
As Assistant Front Office Manager, you'll be at the heart of guest experience, leading by example, supporting and developing the team, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Front Office. You'll bring energy, fresh ideas and a hands-on approach while helping to create a positive team culture. You'll also play an important role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring every guest interaction reflects our brand standards.
Qualifications
Bring your own style to the role, along with:
- Previous experience as a hotel Duty Manager.
- A go-get-it attitude, with the confidence and initiative to take ownership and make things happen.
- A bold and curious mindset, bringing fresh ideas and looking for opportunities to improve the guest and team experience.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, with the ability to lead by example and inspire a high-performing team.
- Strong guest service and communication skills, with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence supporting team training, development, rostering and day-to-day operations.
- Experience with Opera Cloud or a similar Property Management System is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to work a rotating 38-hour roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Valid Australian working rights.
