Job Description
Control Room Leadership
• Supervise the day-to-day operation of the Security Control Room, ensuring professional monitoring, handover, documentation, and shift discipline at all times.
• Maintain continuous surveillance coverage of guest areas, heart-of-house, access points, loading areas, parking, external resort areas, and other designated locations.
• Ensure CCTV operators and assigned Security colleagues follow approved monitoring protocols, communication channels, escalation levels, and confidentiality standards.
• Prepare daily control room summaries, exception reports, incident logs, maintenance logs, and evidence records for Security leadership review.
CCTV, Alarms & Security Systems
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control alerts, duress systems, fire-life-safety notifications, and other surveillance technology to detect suspicious activity, hazards, unauthorized access, or security breaches.
• Escalate unusual activity, system faults, blind spots, camera failures, coverage gaps, alarm activations, and operational risks without delay.
• Coordinate with Engineering, IT, and approved vendors to ensure surveillance equipment, recording systems, monitors, access points, and alarms remain operational.
• Conduct routine checks of cameras, recording integrity, monitor visibility, time/date accuracy, playback capability, and coverage quality.
Incident Support & Evidence Handling
• Support Security leadership with CCTV review, incident reconstruction, preliminary investigations, theft/loss checks, accident reviews, door/vehicle/access incidents, and guest or colleague safety matters.
• Preserve video footage and related records according to SOP, audit requirements, privacy expectations, and management instructions.
• Provide timely information to field Security teams during emergencies, medical cases, fire alarms, crowd movement, VIP movements, or suspicious activity.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure CCTV information is not discussed, copied, viewed, or released without proper authorization.
Access Control & Communication
• Support visitor management, contractor access, vehicle movement observations, loading bay activity, colleague entrance monitoring, and restricted-area controls through CCTV and system observation.
• Use clear radio and telephone communication to guide patrol teams, supervisors, and emergency responders to the correct location quickly.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Guest Relations, Engineering, F&B, P&C, Spa & Wellness, and other departments when CCTV observations require operational follow-up.
Training, Compliance & Improvement
• Train CCTV operators and Security colleagues on control room procedures, reporting standards, camera navigation, system use, incident escalation, privacy, and emergency support.
• Review monitoring effectiveness, identify recurring risks, and recommend system improvements, camera repositioning, signage, lighting, patrol adjustments, or procedural changes.
• Ensure control room activities comply with hotel SOPs, Accor expectations, Saudi regulations, data confidentiality, and brand service standards.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma required; diploma or certificate in Security, CCTV Operations, IT Systems, Safety, or Hospitality preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in security, CCTV, control room, surveillance, or hotel security operations, including supervisory experience; luxury hotel or resort experience preferred.
• Languages: Good English required; Arabic preferred.
• Technical skills: Advanced CCTV operation, video retrieval, access control, alarms, visitor management, incident reporting, Microsoft Office, radio communication, and basic troubleshooting coordination.
• Certifications: CCTV, security, first aid / CPR, fire safety, or local licensing as required by Saudi regulations preferred.
• Desired profile: highly observant, discreet, calm, analytical, technically confident, accurate with records, respectful of privacy, and able to make timely escalations under pressure.
Additional Information
- Strong understanding of ultra-luxury wellness concepts and brand alignment.
- Experience in pre-opening operations, project coordination, and setup of wellness facilities is highly preferred.
- Ability to create innovative and culturally relevant wellness experiences aligned with the Red Sea destination.
