Job Description
Verify invoices for accuracy and authorisations
Ensure vendor information is up to date in finance system
Ensure invoices processed in the A/P ledger are coded accurately
Prepare payment runs, strictly following vendor payment terms
Reconciliation of payment runs and accounts
Assist Finance Team with month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations including bank, and end of month stock takes.
Maintain accurate accounting documents and records including appropriate control measures to avoid duplicate accounting or payment of invoices
Oversee general cashier duties, and monitor internal controls as required.
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Business or related discipline
Successful experience or exposure in accounts payable, finance or a similar administrative role
Knowledge of Opera, RMS, ResPax, SUN, or similar financial systems
Attention to detail, organisation skills and accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
