As Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading bar service operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, smooth operations, and strong team leadership throughout each shift.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced bar environment, has a passion for beverage service, and enjoys leading from the floor while creating memorable guest experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising day-to-day bar operations and service
- Leading and motivating the bar team during busy service periods
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences and resolving guest concerns professionally
- Ensuring service standards and brand expectations are consistently maintained
- Assisting with team training, onboarding, and development
- Supporting roster coordination and shift planning where required
- Preparing and serving cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and other beverages
- Driving beverage knowledge, recommendations, and upselling within the team
- Managing stock levels, stock rotation, and assisting with beverage inventory
- Ensuring responsible service of alcohol requirements are consistently followed
- Maintaining cleanliness, presentation, and operational compliance standards
- Working collaboratively with the wider Food & Beverage and hotel teams
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hotel Food & Beverage environment
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong cocktail, wine, spirits, and general beverage knowledge
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a high-volume environment
- Confidence leading and motivating a team during busy service periods
- Current WA RSA certification
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Previous experience within a hotel or premium bar environment is advantageous
