Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Duty Manager to join our team in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee all hotel operations during your assigned shift, ensuring seamless coordination across all departments while maintaining our commitment to exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. As a Duty Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our team's success, demonstrating leadership, resilience, and a customer-focused approach in every interaction.

  • Supervise all hotel operations during assigned shifts, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by responding promptly and effectively to guest requests, complaints, and emergencies with empathy and professionalism
  • Manage staffing levels, delegate tasks strategically, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding service and achieve departmental goals
  • Monitor strict adherence to hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards across all operational areas
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency
  • Handle conflict resolution and problem-solving with assertiveness and transparency, addressing guest issues and team concerns constructively
  • Liaise and collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless coordination, clear communication, and unified service delivery
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive shift reports, documenting incidents, guest feedback, operational updates, and performance metrics
  • Support the management team with employee training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and onboarding initiatives as needed
  • Ensure financial control measures are followed, including cash handling accuracy, billing verification, and inventory management
  • Respond decisively to emergencies and operational challenges, maintaining composure and implementing effective solutions
  • Analyze operational data and guest feedback to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to strategic planning

Qualifications

**Required Skills and Experience:**

  • Proven experience in hotel management, hospitality operations, or a related supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm, decisive, and resilient under pressure
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Experience with shift management, scheduling, and staff coordination
  • Solid understanding of financial control, cash handling, and inventory management
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with hotel management software and property management systems (preferred)
  • Experience with incident reporting, documentation, and emergency response procedures

**Required Education and Certifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field, OR equivalent professional experience in hotel operations management
