Job Description
1. Position Summary: Rixos Phu Quoc, Vietnam is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to generate new business, maintain client relationships, and contribute to the overall sales goals of the property. The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, identifying market opportunities, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. This role plays a vital part in driving revenue and enhancing the market position of the property.
2. Key Responsibilities:
• Account Management: Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts across assigned market segments, ensuring regular engagement and retention.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive sales calls, networking, and participation in industry events.
• Sales Execution: Develop and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals in line with company objectives and client needs.
• Market Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and client needs to develop tailored sales strategies.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and achievements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Revenue, Marketing, and Event teams to ensure alignment on pricing, promotions, and service delivery.
• Client Visits & Inspections: Organize and conduct site inspections and property tours for prospective clients.
• CRM Management: Update and manage client information using the company’s CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Event Representation: Represent the property at trade shows, exhibitions, and sales missions to promote brand visibility and business growth.
• Compliance: Adhere to company policies, sales procedures, and legal requirements in all client interactions and transactions.
Qualifications
Sustainability: Commit to and maintain sustainable practices by enhancing resource efficiency, minimizing waste, and promoting eco-friendly, social, and ethical initiatives. Align with the hotel's broader ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) objectives to drive positive impact across all pillars of Market Segment needs.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure full compliace with local legal requirements, international standards, health and safety regulations, company policies, ISO standards, and industry best practices. Continuously review and update operational processes to ensure alignment with evolving legal and regulatory requirements.
Food Safety & Hygiene: Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations by overseeing proper purchasing, storage, handling, maintenance, communication, and preparation practices across all departments.
Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales within the hospitality or related industry min 2 years.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRM tools is a plus.
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Knowledge of Korean or/and Chinese Market in Corporate, Leisure, Groups and FITs.
• English is a must, Multi Language in Korean or/and Chinese or/and Russian is required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple client needs.
• Demonstrates a professional demean our with a strong commitment to delivering customer service excellence.
Working Conditions:
• Full-time position
• Standard office hours, Monday through Friday.
• Flexibility required for client meetings, site visits, and business events outside regular hours.
• On-site role with frequent client interaction and travel as needed.
