Ideally located alongside the Dave Murray Downhill on Whistler Mountain, Fairmont Heritage Place, At Nature’s Door, Whistler is an exclusive residential community offering three and four bedroom homes with year round access to some of British Columbia’s most spectacular outdoor experiences. You perform a wide range of duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the property’s facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and fully functional environment for our guests. You bring strong overall maintenance skills and a willingness to learn the unique features of our property, contributing to memorable experiences for our owners, guests, and colleagues.

What you will be doing

• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on the property’s facilities and equipment, ensuring consistent operation of heat, steam, electric power, gas, and air systems.
• Perform minor and routine maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, electrical work, and general building upkeep.
• Maintain parts and supply inventory
• Complete maintenance projects. 
• Inspect all property areas for safety and standard concerns, and take immediate corrective action as needed.
• Coordinate and perform repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
• Perform pool and hot tub maintenance.
• Assist guests with questions about property facilities in a friendly, informative, and helpful manner.

• Relevant building maintenance experience is required.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities, able to work well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and computer skills. 
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Previous experience with painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and pool/spa maintenance.

Starting hourly wage: $33.00
