Job Description

  • Assist the IT Manager in managing day-to-day IT operations and services.
  • Supervise and support IT staff, including help desk, systems, network, and technical support teams.
  • Monitor and maintain servers, networks, computers, software, and other IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and applications.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues.
  • Manage user accounts, access permissions, email systems, and IT-related security controls.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Monitor system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
  • Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, software implementations, and technology deployments.
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
  • Maintain IT documentation, asset inventories, configurations, procedures, and technical records.
  • Monitor IT performance, identify recurring issues, and recommend improvements.
  • Assist with IT budgeting, procurement, licensing, and technology resource planning.
  • Ensure IT systems and processes comply with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
  • Train and guide employees on IT systems, applications, cybersecurity awareness, and best practices.
  • Prepare IT reports, performance metrics, and updates for the IT Manager and senior management.
  • Participate in developing and enforcing IT policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Provide technical assistance during emergencies, system outages, and critical incidents.
  • Perform other IT-related duties assigned by the IT Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant IT experience, preferably with supervisory or management responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of computer networks, servers, operating systems, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows environments, cloud technologies, and IT service management is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of IT security principles and data protection practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
