This year, we're reimagining what exceptional guest service is at our hotel; This is your opportunity to join our team, as we prepare to launch Brisbane’s newest grill experience. 

We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences through their passion for first class cuisine. You will work along side the Executive Chef, and Sous Chef, to lead our restaurant's Kitchen brigade through the launch of a new dining experience, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a la carte service to ensure quality and consistency across all menu items.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising wastage.
• Contribute to menu planning, specials, and seasonal offerings
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, equipment care, and food safety standards.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background in restaurant kitchens & a la carte service; you'll draw on this experience to bring a flair of innovation and creative use of seasonal, local ingredients. You'll be a hands-on leader, who works alongside the kitchen brigade and takes an active role in mentoring and developing emerging chefs. 

• Qualification in Commercial Cookery or similar relevant qualification.
• Demonstrated experience managing a high volume restaurant kitchen & a la carte service. 
• Available to work on a 7-day rotating roster, including public holidays and weekends where required.
