Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented GSA-Front Office professional to join our team in Mysuru, India. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be instrumental in creating memorable experiences from arrival through departure. Your role is pivotal in setting the tone for each guest's stay while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and operational excellence.

  • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming first impression that reflects our commitment to exceptional service
  • Execute efficient check-in and check-out procedures while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Respond promptly and empathetically to guest requests and inquiries, resolving issues with transparency and decisiveness
  • Manage guest accounts and settle payments with precision and integrity
  • Take initiative to personalize each guest's experience by understanding their needs and preferences
  • Promote hotel facilities and services strategically, identifying opportunities to enhance guest stays through thoughtful upselling
  • Maintain organized records and manage reservations with meticulous attention to detail
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure seamless operations and consistent service delivery
  • Uphold and exceed customer service standards, ensuring guest expectations are consistently surpassed
  • Bring operational matters of concern to management's attention promptly and transparently
  • Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in managing multiple priorities during peak periods
  • Support the front office team in achieving departmental goals and maintaining a positive, inclusive work environment

Qualifications

  • Relevant diploma or degree in Hotel Management or hospitality-related field
  • Proven experience in front office operations, guest services, or reception desk management
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time management abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated service orientation with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction
  • High level of flexibility, initiative, and teamwork capability
  • Proficiency with Opera property management system (preferred)
  • General computer proficiency and familiarity with reservation systems
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and upselling techniques
  • Sincerity, reliability, and professional demeanor

Additional Information


Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
