Job Description
- Handle inquiries for meetings, conferences, weddings, social events, and group bookings from initial contact through contract signing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and event planners.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and quotations tailored to clients' needs.
- Conduct site inspections and hotel presentations for prospective clients.
- Coordinate with Operations, Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure successful event execution.
- Monitor event details and ensure all client requirements are communicated accurately to operational teams.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively participate in sales activities to generate revenue.
- Negotiate rates and contractual terms while maintaining profitability.
- Maintain accurate records in the hotel's CRM and sales systems.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote the hotel.
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction before, during, and after each event.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Convention & Events, Catering Sales, or Hotel Sales.
- Strong knowledge of meetings, conferences, banquets, and event operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Customer-oriented with strong relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with hotel sales systems and CRM platforms is preferred.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when business requires.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
