Job Description
We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team. You will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of daily operations of the food and beverage offering, delivering memorable guest experiences, leading service excellence, and developing our people.
- Lead front-of-house food & beverage operations, delivering friendly, professional service
- Manage restaurant and bar teams, planning daily activities
- Manage guest issues and support emergency response procedures
- Ensure clear communication through service logs and cross-department collaboration
- Drive performance against budgets, service standards, and customer satisfaction targets
- Support team training, inductions, and compliance with food safety, safe work and hygiene standards
- Manage inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and implement cost control measures to optimise profitability while maintaining quality
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Represent the restaurant professionally and build lasting relationships with customers, staff, and community stakeholders

- A demonstrated passion for leading the next generation of hospitality leaders.
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role within the food service industry
- Ability to support and guide team members to reach operational expectations
- Strong organisational skills and time management
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with restaurant management software and Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Solid understanding of inventory management, cost control, and budget management
- Experience with staff scheduling, recruitment, and performance management
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and foster an inclusive workplace environment
- Familiarity with Australian food safety regulations and local compliance requirements
- Hold current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA - or ability to obtain)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require
- Full working rights in Australia
