Combining breathtaking surroundings with exceptional service and contemporary facilities, the resort delivers memorable experiences for every guest and event.

We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to be based in Melbourne and take ownership of driving growth across our conferencing, events and leisure markets. With travel to Marysville as required, this role offers the opportunity to showcase a truly unique destination, build strong client partnerships and directly influence property performance and commercial success.

Job Description

As Director of Sales, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence and building long-term partnerships across corporate, events and leisure segments.

Working closely with Revenue and Marketing teams, you will develop and execute sales strategies that maximise opportunities, strengthen client relationships and position Peppers Marysville as a premier regional destination.

About the Role:

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities across conferencing, events and leisure markets.
  • Develop sales strategies that drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, partners and key market segments.
  • Lead site inspections and client experiences at Peppers Marysville to showcase the destination.
  • Collaborate with Revenue and Marketing teams to maximise commercial performance.
  • Analyse market trends, forecasts and opportunities to support decision-making.

Qualifications

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in hotel, resort or tourism sales with strong knowledge of corporate, events and leisure markets.
  • A commercial mindset with a track record of achieving sales results and growing revenue.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to identify opportunities, develop strategies and deliver results.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to work across multiple teams.
  • A passion for hospitality and creating exceptional client experiences.
  • Ability to travel to Marysville as required, with a current driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle.
