Job Description
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contracts and personal files.
- Support payroll processing by verifying attendance, overtime, and leave records.
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor laws and Swissôtel policies in personnel matters.
- Monitor employee attendance, leave requests, and punctuality, addressing discrepancies as needed.
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance and social security.
- Help prepare periodic reports on personnel data, such as turnover, attendance, and benefits usage.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to contracts, benefits, and employment policies.
- Collaborate with the Personnel Manager to support recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Facilitate the collection and documentation of legal requirements for local and expatriate employees.
- Support audits by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of personnel files and records.
- Assist with offboarding processes, including exit interviews and final settlements.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update the personnel database for quick and accurate access to employee information.
- Support the implementation of disciplinary actions and ensure proper documentation.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on labor law compliance and personnel policies.
- Assist in organizing training sessions related to compliance and workplace policies.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all personnel records and sensitive information.
- Collaborate on initiatives to improve the efficiency of personnel operations and workflows.
- Monitor and report any potential risks related to labor law or personnel practices.
- Act as a liaison between employees and the Personnel Manager to maintain a harmonious work environment.
Qualifications
- Hospitality industry experience, particularly in hotel or resort operations
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and talent management platforms
- Demonstrated success implementing organizational change initiatives and process improvements
Additional Information
experience is an asset
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
