Job Description
- Maintain and manage employee records, including contracts, personal files, and legal documentation.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely payment of salaries and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor laws and Swissôtel policies in all personnel matters.
- Monitor attendance, leave requests, and overtime records, addressing discrepancies when necessary.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Provide guidance on labor law compliance and HR policies to employees and managers.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on personnel data and HR metrics to management.
- Handle employee inquiries and resolve issues related to contracts, benefits, and employment terms.
- Collaborate with the HR team on recruitment processes by managing employee onboarding documentation.
- Develop and maintain a personnel database for efficient access to employee information.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure alignment on HR and operational needs.
- Support audits and inspections to ensure the integrity of personnel processes and records.
- Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding processes, ensuring proper documentation.
- Manage visa, work permits, and legal requirements for expatriate employees.
- Implement and monitor policies related to attendance, punctuality, and workplace discipline.
- Assist in implementing HR initiatives and training sessions for employees.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate processing of tax and social insurance deductions.
- Foster a professional and confidential environment in handling employee records and matters.
- Review and update personnel policies in line with legal and corporate changes.
- Act as a liaison between employees and management to maintain a harmonious workplace.
Qualifications
- Hospitality industry experience, particularly in hotel or resort operations
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and talent management platforms
- Demonstrated success implementing organizational change initiatives and process improvements
Additional Information
experience is an asset
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
