Job Description

  • JOB PURPOSE

 

  • To know and observe the credit policies of Accor and the hotel and to assist in establishing and compiling clear and well defined credit procedures for all positions in a formal Credit Manual.
  • To represent the Accounting & Finance Division on the hotel's Executive Committee in absence of the Director of Finance.
  • To support staff needs in other Divisions based on the hotel priorities and anticipated business levels.
  • To implement and streamline the internal control procedures covering all activities of the hotel.
  • To network with peers in the industry to gain access to critical financial and other relevant information.
  • To ensure that laid down procedures as given below are followed in each of the following Accounting Sections: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash & Bank, General Ledger / M.I.S., Internal Audit

 

General Duty

  • To train employees to be able to ensure that they have the necessary skill to perform their duties with the maximum efficiency.
  • To be thoroughly familiar with the duties and responsibilities of the Internal Audit.
  • To assist in the training of Income, Costing and Material Management personnel as part of the effort to build an efficient team and to take an active interest in their individual development and welfare.
  • To supervise subordinates in all sections, ensuring that through effective Scheduling, Cross Training, Multi Skirling and use of Technology productivity is maximised.
