Job Description
- Supervise the daily operation and maintenance of all electrical systems and equipment throughout the hotel.
- Plan, assign, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety regulations and hotel standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults efficiently to minimize operational downtime.
- Supervise contractors and vendors during electrical maintenance and installation projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment logs, and technical documentation.
- Support energy conservation initiatives and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance requests.
- Train, coach, and motivate Engineering team members while promoting a strong safety culture.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations when required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, generators, transformers, UPS, lighting controls, and building services.
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance programs and occupational health and safety standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and emergency call-outs when required.
- Good command of English is an advantage.
