Job Description
We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Spa Therapist to join our wellness team in 6th of October City, Egypt. In this role, you'll deliver exceptional spa experiences by providing high-quality massage, body, and facial treatments that promote relaxation, wellness, and skin health. You'll be the cornerstone of our guests' wellness journey, combining technical expertise with genuine care to create memorable and transformative experiences.
- Deliver professional massage, body, and facial treatments using appropriate techniques tailored to individual client needs and preferences
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess health conditions, skin types, and wellness goals, ensuring personalized treatment plans
- Maintain meticulous hygiene and sanitation standards throughout all treatment areas and equipment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment where clients feel comfortable, respected, and valued during their spa experience
- Stay current with industry trends, new treatment techniques, and product innovations through continuous professional development
- Recommend and upsell spa products and treatment packages based on client needs, demonstrating product knowledge and benefits
- Manage time efficiently to ensure all appointments run smoothly while maintaining the highest quality of service
- Document client information, treatment notes, and preferences accurately to support personalized future visits
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and contribute to a supportive, positive workplace culture
- Communicate transparently with clients about treatment options, expected outcomes, and any contraindications or concerns
Qualifications
**Required:**
- Diploma or Certificate in Massage Therapy, Aesthetics, or Cosmetology from a recognized institution
- Proven experience providing massage, body, and facial treatments in a professional spa or wellness setting
- Strong knowledge of various massage techniques, skincare principles, and wellness practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform treatments effectively throughout the workday
- Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and client confidentiality
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by spa operations
- Proficiency in basic spa software or appointment management systems
**Preferred:**
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Additional certifications in specialized treatments (aromatherapy, hot stone therapy, reflexology, etc.)
- Experience with product knowledge and retail sales in a spa environment
- Demonstrated ability to customize treatments based on individual client feedback and preferences
- Knowledge of wellness trends and holistic health practices
- Experience working in a team-oriented spa or hospitality environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining treatment records
