We are currently looking for a passionate and service-oriented Reservation Agent—someone who understands that the guest experience begins long before arrival. As the first point of contact for many of our guests, you will play a key role in creating positive first impressions while ensuring every reservation is handled with professionalism, care, and attention to detail.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage individual and group reservations through phone, email, and online booking channels.
  • Deliver exceptional service and personalized assistance to guests throughout the reservation process.
  • Provide accurate information about room types, rates, hotel facilities, packages, and special offers.
  • Maximize revenue by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities while meeting guests' needs.
  • Ensure reservation data is entered accurately and maintained in the hotel's property management system.
  • Coordinate closely with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Handle guest requests, modifications, cancellations, and special arrangements efficiently and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with Accor and MGallery brand standards, reservation procedures, and service quality expectations.

Qualifications

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a hospitality professional who enjoys communicating with people, has excellent organizational skills, and is passionate about delivering outstanding service from the very first interaction.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in reservations, front office, guest services, or customer service, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A guest-focused mindset with a strong attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Commercial awareness and confidence in identifying sales opportunities.
  • Fluency in both Hungarian and English; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Good computer skills and experience with hotel reservation or property management systems is preferred.
  • Experience within an international hotel company—particularly Accor—will be considered an advantage.
