Job Description

Join Pullman East Melbourne’s dynamic Food & Beverage team as an Assistant Manager and play a key role in delivering polished, guest-focused service across our bars, restaurants and premium event spaces. You will be a hands-on leader on the floor, solving problems in real time, elevating each guest experience, and inspiring your team to perform at their best.

You're responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to): 

  • Lead day-to-day operations across F&B outlets, ensuring smooth, efficient and on-brand service.

  • Act as an efficient problem solver, confidently managing guest issues, service challenges and operational roadblocks.

  • Champion a guest-centric culture by anticipating needs, personalising service and maintaining high standards.

  • Coach, support, and motivate the team, providing clear direction, feedback and on-the-job training.

  • Work closely with the Outlet Manager and broader Hotel Leadership team to achieve service, revenue and quality targets.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will hold the below (but not limited to): 

  • 2+ years’ experience within the Food & Beverage. 
  • Sound understanding of emerging trends in the industry, with an innovative mindset.
  • Strong focus and passion for hotel, food and beverage operations, and guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to excel within a busy operation and be able to multitask with a warm friendly approach
  • Ability to work flexibility (including nights, weekends, public holidays). 
  • Possession of impeccable attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team to deliver successful operations.
  • Flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change.
  • Must hold a valid RSA.
