Job Description

Always lending a helping hand with a smile. As a Bellperson, your passion for the property, and your respect for our guests’ belongings will ensure that our guests feel welcomed as soon as they arrive.

  • Timely delivery of guests’ luggage, messages and any other items for delivery within the property
  • Ensure that all long-term Guest luggage is stored correctly and logged in the correct manner
  • Personalize guests’ orientation of their room in a professional, friendly and engaging way
  • Maintain presence in the lobby as an ambassador of the property and brand, offering exceptional service to the guests
  • Be aware of all functions that are taking place in the hotel and to direct guests to the correct destination
  • Delivery of guest amenities i.e. rollaway beds, microwaves, refrigerators etc.
  • Refreshing guest rooms when asked
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Proficient in English (verbal & written).
  • Prior experience in customer service an asset
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays

Physical Demands:

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
