    About the Food & Beverage Manager Inspire position: Where Hospitality Begins.

    As Food & Beverage Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day operation and leadership of assigned Food & Beverage outlets and services within the hotel. Working closely with the Food & Beverage, Culinary teams, and fellow leaders, you will drive operational excellence, colleague engagement, guest satisfaction, and financial performance.

    You are a hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality, committed to developing talent, and dedicated to delivering exceptional luxury service experiences. Through innovation, strategic planning, and active leadership, you will contribute to the continued success and growth of the hotel’s Food & Beverage operations. Reporting to the Director, Food & Beverage.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the daily operations of assigned Food & Beverage outlets and services, ensuring luxury service standards are consistently achieved
    • Collaborate with culinary teams to ensure seamless front and heart-of-house operations.
    • Oversee scheduling, labor management, colleague performance reviews, and departmental productivity
    • Ensure operational readiness and excellence across all meal periods and service offerings.
    • Provide leadership coverage and operational support across Food & Beverage departments as required
    • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, turning service recovery opportunities into positive outcomes
    • Monitor guest feedback, online reviews, and social media channels to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
    • Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop colleagues to support operational excellence
    • Promote a positive workplace culture focused on engagement, accountability, and recognition
    • Support the achievement of departmental revenue, profitability, and labor targets
    • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, inventory controls, and cost management initiatives
    • Analyze operational and financial results and implement action plans to improve performance
    • Support promotional initiatives, activations, and marketing campaigns that drive business growth
    • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
    • Maintain awareness of and adherence to Alberta Health Services regulations and company policies
    • Assist with the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    What will you bring to this role?

    • One year of previous experience in a similar position is an asset
    • Proficiently operate and manage key software systems, including Silverware POS, OpenTable, Opera PMS, Outlook, and other relevant platforms to ensure operational excellence
    • Be available to work a variety of shifts and days, as required by business levels and seniority
    • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume Kitchen
    • Should be able to handle multiple tasks in a timely manner
    • Strong organizational skills
    • A strong capacity to work with and motivate a culturally diverse work force
    • Energetic, self-motivated, proactive, out-going, team-player
