Job Description

Role Overview

As Security Manager (Saudi National), you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and wellbeing of all guests, colleagues, and resort assets across Gamra Mountain Resort.

This role is central to maintaining a secure yet welcoming environment, balancing strong operational control with the discreet, guest-centric service culture that defines Mantis hospitality.

You will lead all aspects of resort security operations, compliance, and emergency preparedness within a remote mountain destination environment, while acting as a key liaison with local authorities and regulatory bodies in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

Security Operations & Leadership

  • Oversee all daily security operations across guest areas, back-of-house, and resort grounds
  • Maintain a visible, professional, and discreet security presence aligned with luxury resort standards
  • Manage access control, patrols, surveillance systems, and incident response protocols
  • Lead and supervise the security team, ensuring high performance and accountability

Risk Management & Emergency Response

  • Develop and implement comprehensive emergency response plans (fire, medical, evacuation, natural events)
  • Conduct regular risk assessments across accommodation, F&B, adventure park, and outdoor areas
  • Lead emergency drills and preparedness training across all departments
  • Respond to incidents with calm authority and structured reporting

Compliance & Regulatory Liaison (KSA Focus)

  • Ensure full compliance with Saudi security regulations, licensing requirements, and civil defence standards
  • Act as the primary liaison with local police, civil defence, and relevant government authorities
  • Maintain accurate security documentation, reports, and incident logs in line with audit requirements
  • Support internal and external audits related to safety and security

Guest & Colleague Safety

  • Ensure a safe and secure environment while preserving a warm, welcoming guest experience
  • Promote a strong culture of safety awareness across all departments
  • Train colleagues on emergency procedures, incident reporting, and security best practices
  • Manage sensitive situations with professionalism, discretion, and cultural awareness

Systems & Infrastructure

  • Oversee CCTV systems, access control platforms, and security technology infrastructure
  • Ensure functionality and maintenance of all security equipment
  • Monitor and report on security trends, risks, and operational improvements

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–8 years’ experience in security operations, ideally within hospitality, resorts, or large-scale facilities
  • Experience in remote destinations or resort environments strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of Saudi security regulations and civil defence requirements
  • Proven leadership experience managing security teams
  • Calm, disciplined, and highly observant under pressure
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a remote mountain resort environment with operational autonomy
  • Security certifications or formal training in risk management preferred
