Job Description

As the Housekeeping Manager, you will lead the daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and heart of house spaces are maintained to exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards, delivering an outstanding guest experience in line with brand expectations.

What will you be doing:

  • Lead, motivate and manage the daily operations of rostering, stock control, and productivity of the Housekeeping team.
  • Carry out regular inspections of all areas of the property in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager to ensure that all facilities are being cleaned and maintained according to brand standards.
  • Order and control all Housekeeping inventory, including chemicals, linen and supplies.
  • Liaises and manage outside contractors relationships with regard to manning, laundry and cleaning material services.
  • Manage all lost property processes, delivering prompt resolutions and exceptional guest service to create positive and memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a housekeeping leadership role within a hotel or a hospitality environment.
  • You have a proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a positive and engaged workplace culture.
  • Experience managing costs, productivity targets, departmental budgets, and inventory control. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Front Office, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and other stakeholders within the business.
  • A skilled communicator with ability to multi task with experience in managing guest feedback, service recovery, and complaint resolution.
