Job Description
- Coordinate all aspects of conferences and events from confirmation through to post-event follow-up
- Prepare and manage conference proposals, event orders, and client communications
- Assist in developing quotations covering venue, catering, and accommodation requirements
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of events
- Provide on-site event coordination to ensure smooth execution and guest satisfaction
- Support banquet operations as required during events
- Conduct and coordinate site inspections and familiarisation visits for clients
- Prepare conference materials including menus, signage, and event collateral
- Maintain accurate client databases and conference records
- Attend and contribute to Banquet Event Order meetings and sales meetings
- Ensure all conference areas, equipment, and materials are clean, functional, and well-maintained
- Coordinate closely with the Banquet Manager and maintenance team to meet operational needs
- Deliver exceptional guest service aligned with Accor’s Heartist culture
- Act as an ambassador for Accor, promoting services, facilities, and brand values
- Maintain RSA certification and adhere to responsible service standards
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures, including ALLSafe standards
- Ensure compliance with company policies, confidentiality requirements, and operational procedures
- Support a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team environment
Qualifications
- 1–2 years’ experience in Conferences & Events or Hospitality
- Previous experience in event coordination or client service preferred
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of hotel systems (advantageous)
- Flexible availability, including weekends if required
- Professional presentation and positive attitude
- Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional guest experiences
