This is an exciting new position within Ennismore’s growing portfolio of lifestyle brands, representing the first Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt.

Job Description

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Finance Department.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor hotel revenues, expenses, payroll, and overall profitability.
  • Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Ensure proper financial controls and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, payroll, and purchasing controls.
  • Maintain the integrity of accounting records and financial systems.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely completion.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to the General Manager and leadership team.
  • Monitor cost control initiatives across all departments.
  • Review contracts, supplier agreements, and procurement processes from a financial perspective.
  • Ensure all tax filings and statutory requirements are completed accurately and on time.
  • Support pre-opening and operational finance activities when required.
  • Work closely with department heads to improve financial awareness and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with Morgans Originals brand standards and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are an advantage.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of finance experience within the hospitality industry.
  • Previous luxury or lifestyle hotel experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
