Job Description
Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Fairmont Gold manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Consistently offer professional, engaging and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues
- Provide exceptional service to Fairmont Gold guests in an engaging and knowledgeable manner
- Anticipate Guests unexpressed needs
- Solving guest problems at first contact
- Demonstrate menu knowledge in Fairmont Gold Lounge
- Bus and reset tables as required
- Keep work area clean & tidy at all times
- Responsible for the cleanliness & appearance of Gold Lounge, Balcony, Pantry & FG store rooms
- Strict adherence to all Health & Safety training, guidelines and work practices previous, during and following an epidemic (whether local or global) that are established by Accor, local government, international bodies including the World Health Organization (WHO) and Center for disease control (CDC)
- Perform any other duties, tasks, and assignments within your department as required
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year food & beverage experience in a luxury hotel or restaurant is strongly preferred
- Fairmont Gold experience is strongly preferred
- Proven excellent customer service
- The ability to communicate in an engaging and clear manner, demonstrating a strong command of the English language is required
- The ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Reliable and responsible with ability to work well in a team environment
- A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills and a desire to provide exceptional service
- Strong work ethic, and the ability to work split shifts, extended hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays is required
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Must possess a professional presentation & positive attitude
