Job Description

Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Are you a passionate foodie who is not afraid of thinking outside the box? Then, we have the job for you! As an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will strategically lead the team to take guest satisfaction to the next level.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead, mentor, and train the Food & Beverage Operations team to deliver exceptional service
  • Ensure Food & Beverage relevant brand standards are maintained across all service touchpoints
  • Strategize on new products and service offerings to enhance the guest experience
  • Create unforgettable experiences for our guests through innovative programming and personalized service
  • Oversee daily F&B operations and ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Monitor inventory management and implement cost control measures to optimize profitability
  • Develop and execute comprehensive staff training programs to elevate service quality and consistency
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate menu offerings, seasonal specials, and themed events
  • Manage guest feedback and implement continuous improvement initiatives based on operational insights
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence

     

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Service-focused personality with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Proven leadership experience in Food & Beverage operations or hospitality management
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including team members, guests, and departmental partners
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate thoughts, actions, and opportunities clearly across all levels of the organisation
  • Strong networking abilities and proven track record of fostering collaborative relationships
  • Ability to lead by example, champion a strong team culture, and create an environment conducive to high performance
  • Knowledge of food safety, health, and sanitation standards with ability to ensure full compliance
  • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control measures to optimise profitability

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience in developing and executing comprehensive staff training and development programmes
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking with experience in product development and service innovation
  • Familiarity with culinary concepts and menu development processes
  • Experience managing guest feedback systems and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
  • Hospitality management certification or relevant qualification
  • Proficiency with F&B management systems and point-of-sale technology
