Job Description
We are seeking a professional and decisive Security and Loss Prevention Manager to join our team at Mercure Bangkok Makkasan, Thailand. As a key member of our leadership, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security and loss prevention strategies to protect our assets, employees, and customers.
- Develop, implement, and oversee security and loss prevention policies and procedures
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Manage and maintain security systems, including CCTV and access control
- Lead investigations into security breaches, thefts, and other incidents
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and government agencies as needed
- Train and supervise security personnel and loss prevention teams
- Analyze security data and prepare detailed reports for upper management
- Ensure compliance with Thai labor laws and regulations related to security
- Develop and manage emergency response plans
- Oversee inventory control systems and procedures to minimize shrinkage
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging security technologies
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in security and loss prevention management
- Proven track record in developing and implementing security strategies
- Strong knowledge of security management systems and loss prevention techniques
- Expertise in risk assessment, CCTV surveillance, and emergency response planning
- Proficiency in inventory control systems and shrinkage reduction methods
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Exceptional communication skills in both Thai and English
- In-depth understanding of Thai labor laws and regulations related to security
- Experience in retail or hospitality security operations preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
