Job Description
As a Kitchen Hand, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. Your efforts will help our chefs create memorable meals by ensuring the kitchen is clean, organised and well-stocked at all times.
- Support kitchen operations through basic food preparation and assisting chefs during busy service periods.
- Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes/equipment and keeping all kitchen surfaces hygienic and organised.
- Manage waste by regularly removing rubbish and recycling, ensuring disposal areas stay tidy.
- Help with receiving, storing, and rotating food and supplies while following all health, safety, and food-handling procedures.
Qualifications
- Brings a friendly, professional attitude with strong communication, time‑management skills, and a passion for hospitality.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexible with scheduling, available for a rotating 7‑day roster with early morning or late‑night shifts.
- Understands basic food safety and hygiene practices; previous kitchen or hotel service experience is beneficial but not essential.
