Job Description

The Role

As Hotel Manager of Faena Wadi Safar, you will be the operational heart of the hotel—bringing the General Manager’s vision to life through flawless execution, inspiring leadership, and an uncompromising commitment to service artistry.

You will lead day-to-day hotel operations during pre-opening and beyond, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects Faena’s bold character, ultra-luxury standards, and cultural sensitivity. As a Saudi National, you will also play a pivotal role in grounding the hotel in local culture, community, and talent, serving as a bridge between global brand expression and Saudi authenticity.

What You Will Create

Operational Excellence

  • Lead all hotel operations across Rooms, F&B, Spa & Wellness, Security, Engineering, and Guest Experience, ensuring seamless coordination and elevated performance.

  • Translate brand standards into living rituals—ensuring consistency, precision, and emotional resonance across the guest journey.

  • Drive readiness across SOPs, service sequencing, and operational audits in preparation for opening and sustained excellence.

Pre-Opening Leadership

  • Partner closely with the General Manager on pre-opening execution, including recruitment, training, testing, and operational simulations.

  • Support OS&E deployment, systems implementation, and departmental readiness to ensure a confident and composed opening.

  • Embed Faena culture, storytelling, and service philosophy from day one.

Guest Experience & Service Theatre

  • Champion a guest-first mindset where service is intuitive, expressive, and deeply personal.

  • Oversee signature experiences—from arrival rituals to butler-style service—ensuring moments feel meaningful, not mechanical.

  • Personally engage with guests, residents, and VIPs, acting as a visible and trusted host.

People & Culture

  • Inspire, coach, and develop department heads and teams, fostering pride, accountability, and warmth.

  • Support Saudi talent development, localization goals, and succession planning in alignment with national priorities.

  • Build a culture where standards are understood as acts of care and service is treated as craft.

Performance & Governance

  • Deliver operational efficiency, cost discipline, and quality outcomes in line with budget and owner expectations.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and labor requirements within Saudi Arabia.

  • Act as a trusted operational partner to ownership, brand stakeholders, and Diriyah entities.

Qualifications

Who You Are

  • A Saudi National with strong leadership presence and deep cultural awareness.

  • A seasoned Hotel Manager or senior operations leader from the luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality tier, with pre‑opening successes you can name and measure.

  • Ideally experienced in pre-opening environments, with the ability to build structure while nurturing soul.

  • An inspiring culture‑builder who leads through story, design, and detail—turning standards into rituals and service into theatre.
  • A natural host and culture carrier—leading with warmth, confidence, and attention to detail.

  • Commercially and operationally astute, with a clear understanding of labor strategy, service productivity, and quality metrics.

  • A clear, compelling communicator in Arabic and English—equally at ease on the floor, in the community, and in the boardroom, comfortable engaging with guests, teams, owners, and government stakeholders.
