Job Description

At the Pullman Hotel Rotorua, we’re looking for a Reservations Agent who can:

  • Deliver exceptional service with professionalism and warmth, even during busy times.
  • Handle guest enquiries and bookings with accuracy, care, and a smile.
  • Work closely with our Front Office and Sales & Marketing teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Stay organised, detail-focused, and confident using reservation systems and other software.
  • Bring positive energy and a can-do attitude to every shift
  • Respond to all reservation enquires in a timely manner with Pullman Brand Essentials adhered to.
  • Taking responsibility to optimise hotel occupancy, average rate and yield whilst ensuring all guests’ needs are met.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Previous experience in Reservations/Reception, preferably within a hotel environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team.
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Confident in handling difficult situations and resolving guest concerns.

Preferred:

  • Experience in reservations role and handling inquiry calls.
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS and Accor systems (Resaweb, ACDC, FASTCOM).
  • First Aid Certificate (preferred but not essential).
