Job Description

Pullman Phu Quoc Beach Resort is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Chief Security to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our security leadership, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property.

  • Assist the Chief Security Officer in developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies for the resort
  • Oversee daily security operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential security threats
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement and government agencies to ensure compliance with security regulations
  • Manage emergency response procedures and lead the security team during critical incidents
  • Monitor and maintain security systems, including surveillance equipment and access control systems
  • Investigate and report on security incidents, providing detailed analysis and recommendations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless integration of security measures across the resort
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging security technologies to continuously improve the resort's security posture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of security professionals
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk assessment techniques, and emergency response planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, staff, and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in security management software and surveillance systems
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
  • Thorough understanding of local and national security regulations
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese is a plus
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional) preferred
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Physical ability to respond to emergencies and patrol the resort grounds
