Job Description
- Oversee production and baking of breads, croissants, and other viennoiseries.
- Ensure consistent quality, texture, and flavor of bakery items.
- Organize daily mise en place and ensure all items are ready for service.
- Train, guide, and monitor junior staff and commis assigned to the bakery section.
- Ensure baking schedules are met and stock levels maintained.
- Collaborate with Head Baker on new recipe development and seasonal updates.
- Adhere to hygiene standards, cleaning schedules, and food safety regulations.
- Monitor wastage and contribute to cost control through efficient practices.
- Operate ovens, mixers, and other bakery equipment with care and responsibility.
- Work closely with front-of-house teams for timely and fresh product availability.
