Job Description

About the Role

As a Public Area Attendant, you will play a key role in keeping our hotel’s public spaces pristine, welcoming, and safe. You will ensure all front-of-house and back-of-house spaces reflect our commitment to exceptional guest service and Accor’s Heartist culture.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining all public areas, corridors, lobby, lifts, washrooms and back-of-house zones.
  • Completing routine and programmed cleaning tasks.
  • Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
  • Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or faulty equipment.
  • Securing keys and maintaining safety of public spaces.
  • Supporting Accor’s environmental program
  • Delivering excellent service and interacting positively with guests and team members.
  • Participating in required training, briefings, and Accor Academy modules.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 6 months experience in a housekeeping or similar cleaning environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high presentation standards.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Reliable, motivated, and committed to providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Physically capable of performing manual tasks (lifting, pushing, pulling, stairs).
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
  • Have full working rights in Australia
