Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to lounge patrons and maintaining a safe and pleasant environment. As a casual - doorman / porter, you will assist with greeting guests, managing access control, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth operation of the lounge.
- To meet and greet all guests as they arrive and depart the First Class Lounges
- Ensure guests are entering the correct lounges with understanding boarding passes.
- Repetitive heavy lifting of passenger luggage's
- Ensure guests are dressed to an appropriate standard in the lounges
- Handing over to other departments VIPs checking and any additional relevant information or request to ensure smooth customer experience.
- Explain airport and lounge facilities to guests and answer any questions, including applicable flight information.
- Occasional assistance with Qantas Hosts/F&B Departments
- Ensure, apply, and respect grooming, performance and conduct standards at all times.
- Regular checks of the foyer, cleaning of curbside (if required) and ensure the Premium Check in Suite is kept presentable at all times.
- Assist with any additional dutuies required by management/Qantas
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications
- revious experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Impeccable grooming and professional appearance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy objects.
- Able to obtain Federal Police clearance to work in the restricted areas associated with the airport.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Note: Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Federal Police check at their own cost (Will be reimbursed once approved) in order to gain ASIC certification.
