Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, as a Houseperson, you will be responsible for upholding the hotel’s cleanliness standards across all public areas and housekeeping pantries. You will ensure that inventory levels are appropriately maintained and replenished, including linen, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities such as tea and coffee. The role also involves delivering requested items promptly to guest rooms and fostering positive, professional, and approachable interactions with our guests. In addition, you are expected to report any maintenance issues without delay, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining a seamless and flawless guest experience.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Availability to work a range of shifts across a 7-day roster including weekends, public holidays and event days.
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment
  • Confident and articulate communication and network skills
  • A genuine desire to provide exceptional service
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a hotel environment is preferred
  • Valid and current working rights in Australia
