We are looking for a ‘guest obsessed’ and natural leader who thinks outside the box and strives for success to lead our reservations team.

Take the lead in shaping exceptional guest experiences through strategic reservation management. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • 🛎️ Overseeing Daily Operations   Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the reservations department, maintaining luxury brand standards
  • 🌟 Team Leadership & Development   Inspire, train, and guide the reservations team to consistently deliver outstanding guest connections
  • 🔗 Cross-Department Coordination   Maintain clear and proactive communication with internal teams to ensure seamless guest experience
  • 🎯 Handling Special Bookings   Manage group and VIP reservations, allocations, and special requests
  • 📊 Inventory & Rate Strategy Management   Collaborate with the Revenue team to optimise room inventory and implement effective pricing strategies.
  • 📑 Reporting & Performance Analysis   Generate and interpret reservation reports to ensure compliance, track performance and identify opportunities
  • 📈 Revenue Monitoring & Forecasting   Analyse booking trends, market demand, and pickup pace to maximise revenue opportunities and support accurate budgeting and forecasting

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

 

  • Minimum 2 years reservations supervisory or management experience
  • Experience with Opera or similar property management system
  • A guest-focused personality is essential
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, with a focus on interdepartmental relationships and internal team culture
  • Full, unrestricted Australian working rights
