We are a contemporary style 4.5 star comfort hotel conveniently located in the very heart of Melbourne on fashionable Collins Street close to the Town Hall, Federation Square and retail and theatre districts. Featuring 380 guest rooms and suites, bar and restaurant, swimming pool and gym with 8 flexible conference & function venues feature state-of-the-art, conference technology. The ballroom accommodates events of up to 400 delegates in a theatre-style setup or 230 guests for banquets.

Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Deliver personalised service and create memorable experiences for every guest, in every interaction, every day.
  • Promote and encourage enrolment in ALL – Accor’s loyalty program to non-members.
  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while maintaining accurate guest accounts.
  • Handle bookings, provide clear and helpful information, and accurately enter reservations.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to guest inquiries.
  • Address guest requests and resolve complaints with a positive and solution-focused attitude.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments to support guest needs and manage room changes smoothly.

Qualifications

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Previous experience in a hotel front office or reception role is preferred.
  • Demonstrates a professional telephone manner and outstanding customer service skills.
  • Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management abilities.
  • Maintains a friendly, positive, and proactive attitude, with a strong team-oriented approach.
  • Experience using Opera Cloud is highly regarded.
