Job Description
As a Front Desk Agent, you are the first point of contact for our guests. You are responsible for delivering outstanding service through warm greetings, efficient check-in/check-out procedures, and prompt assistance throughout the guest’s stay. You play a critical role in creating a memorable guest experience that reflects the high standards of our hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a professional, friendly manner
Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
Manage guest reservations, both walk-ins and pre-booked
Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively
Handle billing and payment transactions
Coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge, and other departments to meet guest needs
Maintain knowledge of hotel products, services, and local attractions
Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
Uphold confidentiality of guest information and hotel policies
Follow hotel standard operating procedures and brand standards
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; a diploma in Hospitality/Tourism is highly advantageous
Prior experience in customer service or hospitality roles is strongly preferred
Recent graduates with substantive internship experience in Front Office operations will be considered
Required Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential
Demonstrated strong interpersonal abilities and advanced problem-solving skills
Proven capacity to excel in fast-paced environments and efficiently manage multiple tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Property Management Systems (PMS), such as Opera or equivalent, is required
Impeccable professional appearance and consistently positive demeanor are crucial
Experience as a Night Auditor is highly valued
