Conveniently located amongst Sydney’s CBD, Darling Harbour, Darling Square and ICC precincts at Novotel Sydney Darling Square we are looking for a Head Chef to join our Culinary team.

Reporting directly to our Culinary Director you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the culinary team curating food experiences for our guests across both the Pumphouse and the hotel

What we are looking for:

• Lead and inspire a dynamic kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Develop and implement new menu items that reflect local flavors and seasonal ingredients.
• Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, food cost control, and adherence to food safety standards.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of culinary excellence.
• Oversee menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen organisation alongside the Director of Culinary

What we are looking for:

• Min 2 years experience in hotels handling multiple venues.
• Proven track record of leading and managing large kitchen teams effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for culinary innovation and staying current with industry trends.
