Job Description
- Develop creative ideas, visual concepts, and storyboards aligned with the resort’s marketing objectives and brand standards.
- Identify and act upon relevant social and digital trends that enhance brand visibility while maintaining Fairmont’s luxury positioning.
- Capture compelling photo and video content for social media, digital campaigns, brand partnerships, and internal use.
- Coordinate and execute on-site shoots across the resort’s various venues, including restaurants, spa, rooms, and lifestyle experiences.
- Edit and finalize all visual materials ensuring high aesthetic and technical quality.
- Perform color grading, sound design, and motion graphics when required.
- Maintain consistency in visual tone, color, and style across all platforms.
- Uphold and evolve the visual identity of each business unit, ensuring each maintains its own personality while aligning with the overarching Fairmont brand.
- Support the Marketing & Communications team in crafting visual storytelling for campaigns, events, and collaborations.
- Stay up to date with visual, digital, and hospitality trends to keep content relevant and engaging.
- Provide recommendations on emerging content styles and production techniques to elevate the brand’s presence.
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, Social Media Manager, and other departments to ensure brand consistency and strategic alignment.
- Support special projects, events, and seasonal campaigns with creative assets.
- Be available for flexible working hours based on project and event schedules, including evenings and weekends when required.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in photography, videography, and digital content production within luxury hospitality, lifestyle, or related industries.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects) is a must.
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking with an understanding of luxury brand aesthetics.
- Excellent knowledge of lighting, composition, and post-production workflows.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, with a passion for visual storytelling.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly creative with a refined aesthetic sense.
