As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in growing Kakadu Tourism’s profile and revenue nationally and internationally. This is a highly autonomous role with the flexibility to work from home, but it will require frequent domestic and international travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and build strategic partnerships. You will work closely with the Accor Regional Director of Sales and Marketing and the General Manager to define target markets, develop strategic initiatives, and drive business growth.

Job Description

  • Represent Kakadu Tourism and both hotels at trade shows, industry events, and in communications with key stakeholders such as NT Tourism, Tourism Top End, and Parks Australia.

  • Develop and execute the annual business plan, coordinate trade training and product familiarisations, and ensure agents are kept up to date with company offerings.

  • Lead sales reporting, new business enquiries, and strategic feedback on pricing and market trends, while fostering strong industry relationships to drive brand exposure and revenue growth.

  • Develop and execute annual business plans and sales strategies.

  • Provide regular reporting on sales initiatives, outcomes, and market insights.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in tourism or hospitality sales, with strong stakeholder management experience.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build high-impact relationships across government and commercial sectors.

  • Commercial acumen with the ability to develop long-term strategic plans, drive revenue, and adapt in a fast-evolving market.

  • Driver’s license mandatory.
