Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Deliver efficient, friendly, and professional food & beverage service.
Build rapport with VIP and regular guests, ensuring their needs are met.
Oversee daily bar and restaurant operations, including staff supervision, stock control, and hygiene standards.
Support recruitment, training, and team development, ensuring strong product, beverage, and allergen knowledge.
Drive sales through product knowledge, promotions, and suggestive selling.
Ensure accurate guest billing and compliance with hotel and liquor licensing procedures.
Manage stock ordering, inventory, and monthly stock takes.
Coordinate with Events team for conference and function setups.
Maintain RSA compliance and certification.
Lead by example to maximise guest satisfaction, team performance, and service excellence.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role within a restaurant or bar, ideally in a hotel environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, including stock control and POS systems.
Understanding of liquor licensing, RSA compliance, and workplace health & safety standards.
Exceptional guest service focus with the ability to handle enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Proven ability to drive sales, manage costs, and achieve performance targets.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification required.
