• Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, friendly, and professional food & beverage service.

• Build rapport with VIP and regular guests, ensuring their needs are met.

• Oversee daily bar and restaurant operations, including staff supervision, stock control, and hygiene standards.

• Support recruitment, training, and team development, ensuring strong product, beverage, and allergen knowledge.

• Drive sales through product knowledge, promotions, and suggestive selling.

• Ensure accurate guest billing and compliance with hotel and liquor licensing procedures.

• Manage stock ordering, inventory, and monthly stock takes.

• Coordinate with Events team for conference and function setups.

• Maintain RSA compliance and certification.

• Lead by example to maximise guest satisfaction, team performance, and service excellence.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role within a restaurant or bar, ideally in a hotel environment.

• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.

• Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, including stock control and POS systems.

• Understanding of liquor licensing, RSA compliance, and workplace health & safety standards.

• Exceptional guest service focus with the ability to handle enquiries and resolve issues promptly.

• Proven ability to drive sales, manage costs, and achieve performance targets.

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification required.
