Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Hostess to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly demeanor
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
  • Provide accurate wait times and handle guest inquiries
  • Coordinate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow
  • Maintain an organized and clean reception area
  • Assist with answering phone calls and managing to-go orders
  • Keep track of table status and optimize seating arrangements
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Assist with special events and promotions as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a hostess or in a similar customer-facing role
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing situations
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in using reservation management systems
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
  • Knowledge of local culture and etiquette is beneficial
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the restaurant
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service

Additional Information

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the same or similar role
  • Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
