Job Description

Being a Novotel & Adagio employee means embodying and conveying the brand mindsetthrough the values of commitment, adaptability and creativity.

• Greet and serve the guest by NOVOTEL standards of food and beverages in terms of quality, presentation, sanitation in a gracious and professional manner. Follow up daily outlet operation task by helping and acting. Display aggressive hospitality through positive personality with both guest and fellow associates. Take pride in all facets of service with a clean professional appearance and keep a sparkling clean dining room at all times.

• Self-motivate by consistently focus on guest satisfaction & deliver service excellence.

• Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.

Assist in restaurant service by bussing and resetting tables in a speedy and organized manner. Stock and replenish silverware and napkins in service stations. Maintain a sparkling clean restaurant with high sanitation standards.

• Perform efficiently within the designated time frame.

• Adhere to opening and closing procedure

• Share recommendations and guest comments to Restaurant Supervisor and Restaurant Supervisor Management team to reflect current customer profile.

• Punch in and check for work assignment after reporting to work.

• Clean all chinaware, flatware, glassware, outlet furniture and all necessary to keep outlet clean, tidy according Hotel Standards.

• Set up your service station and check, prior to outlet opening hour:

• Cleanliness of tables

• Cleanliness of chairs

• Assure the table ware well setup and nothing is missing.

• Follow all Novotel policies and procedures.

• Report to work on scheduled days at time by following uniform and appearance standards.

• Work as a team within the outlet and entire hotels

• Follow all safety policies to ensure a safe work area.

• Be knowledgeable of menu items, their garnish, contents and preparation methods. Be ready to answer any guest questions about the menu in a positive and concise way.

Qualifications

  • High School or Vocational Certificate in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or related field. 
  • 1 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have availability to work AM and PM shifts
  • Must have availability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays
