Job Description
Join the team behind our award-winning, Spanish dining experience at Percy. As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll play a key role in the smooth, efficient operation of the restaurant, working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. Your leadership, attention to detail, and operational expertise will help uphold the high standards that Percy is known for.
What You'll Do
- Support daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures and staff scheduling
- Assist in the supervision, training, and development of team members to ensure exceptional service and product knowledge, including menu items, allergens, and promotions
- Oversee inventory control, stock management, and supplier orders to maintain cost-effective operations
- Provide hands-on support during service, ensuring smooth floor operations and quick response to guest needs
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues with professionalism and care
- Assist in financial tasks such as billing accuracy, reporting, budgeting, and register balancing
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of operational success.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, able to motivate and inspire teams.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, enhancing the guest experience.
- Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails, with a passion for outstanding food and beverage service.
- Experience with POS systems such as Infrasys Cloud highly regarded
- Basic knowledge of PMS systems such as Opera Cloud is a plus
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
