Job Description

TRIBE Auckland and JO&JOE Auckland are seeking a Reservations Agent to join our team. This role will be shared across both properties, with JO&JOE operating on the Mews PMS System integrated with Duve, our guest-facing app. The Reservations Agent will be based within the SO/ Auckland reservations team, which includes a Reservations Supervisor and a Cluster Reservations Manager. Mission 1: Manage all incoming booking inquiries across TRIBE Auckland, JO&JOE Auckland, ensuring accurate input of details and maximizing occupancy.

Mission 2: Collaborate closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Front Office teams to optimise occupancy and drive accommodation sales.

Mission 3: Provide professional, friendly, and knowledgeable support to guests, travel agents, and corporate clients, ensuring a high-quality commercial relationship.

Mission 4: Upsell room types, packages, and services while adhering to pricing strategies and brand standards.

Mission 5: Ensure all guest information, preferences, and booking details are correctly recorded in the Property Management System (Mews PMS for JO&JOE, and relevant systems for TRIBE).

Mission 6: Communicate guest requests and special requirements to Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage teams for seamless service delivery.

Mission 7: Maintain up-to-date content across all distribution channels and back-office systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Mission 8: Stay current with reservation systems, loyalty programs, promotions, and brand standards to enhance guest experiences.

Mission 9: Support weekly reporting and analysis of booking trends, system performance, and occupancy metrics.

Mission 10: Contribute to the reliability and completeness of invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all properties.

  • A strong communicator, effectively liaising with internal departments and external partners.
  • Motivated to learn and grow, staying updated on systems, promotions, and brand standards.
  • 1-2 Years of experience in a Lifestyle/Luxury Hotel setting (highly beneficial)
